For the first time in Kazakhstan, endoscopic mastectomy with single-stage reconstruction using an implant was successfully performed. The patient, who had undergone 8 courses of chemotherapy, became the first to undergo this innovative operation in compliance with all principles of oncological radicalism and an aesthetic approach. The operation was performed by specialists of the Department of Breast Tumors and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery under the supervision of oncologist Dinara Ermekovna Samenova, mammologist Marzhan Sovetovna Seksembaeva, together with a team of doctors from the department, and with the participation of oncosurgeon Vitaly Olegovich Kalin (Department of General and Thoracic Surgery). We would like to express special gratitude to the specialists of the operating unit - nurses, anesthesiologists and the entire team who ensured the high quality and safety of the surgical intervention.
