The main task of the Center for Postgraduate Education is: to deepen professional knowledge, skills and abilities; to expand professional opportunities by obtaining additional competencies in connection with changes in the structure of the labor market, to improve the learning process carried out in order to meet the educational needs of healthcare personnel to maintain, expand, deepen and improve professional knowledge, skills and skills, as well as the development of new (additional) competencies.
Professional development is a form of additional education that allows you to maintain, expand, deepen and improve previously acquired professional knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as master new (additional) competencies within the main specialty. A certificate of professional development is issued.
Work schedule (state service "Issuance of documents on advanced training and certification courses for healthcare personnel") — from Monday to Saturday (Monday – Friday from 9.00 to 18.00 hours without a break, on Saturday from 9.00 to 14.00 hours), except weekends (Sunday) and holidays according to the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Additional education of healthcare professionals (hereinafter referred to as additional education) is a learning process carried out in order to meet the educational needs of healthcare personnel in order to maintain, expand, deepen and improve professional knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as the development of new (additional) competencies.
The certification course is a form of additional education aimed at expanding, deepening and forming additional professional knowledge, skills and abilities in a narrow specialization within the framework of the main one. a certificate of the certification course is issued with an appendix (transcript) containing a list of knowledge and skills mastered by a specialist.
The training is conducted by highly qualified clinical and scientific personnel of JSC National Scientific Medical Center on the basis of specialized clinical departments.

- A copy of the diploma (marriage certificate when changing the surname)
- A copy of the last specialization, a certificate of retraining or internship
- A copy of the specialist's certificate
- An order from the place of work on the referral to the cycle (when paying for training by the organization)
- A copy of the work record (not required for temporarily unemployed persons)
- Health record (work permit)
- The result of PCR analysis (by the beginning of the cycle)

Enrollment for the cycle is carried out as applications are received, documents are accepted according to the list and an agreement on tuition fees is concluded.
The Center conducts training seminars on basic emergency care (Basic Life Support) for medical and non-medical workers.
In addition, the Center offers advanced intensive care courses (ACLS, ATLS, PhTLS) for medical professionals (anesthesiologists, intensive care physicians, traumatologists, emergency physicians, etc.). The
training is conducted by instructors certified by the European Resuscitation Council.
