In the clinic of JSC National Scientific Medical Center, the Department of Gynecology performs up to 2,200 operations per year.
In the gynecological department, there is an annual increase in the volume of the following operations:
- removal of fibroids (myomectomy) in patients interested in maintaining menstrual and reproductive function with endoscopic access;
- complete reconstruction of the pelvic floor during prolapse and prolapse of pelvic organs of varying severity;
- diagnostic laparoscopy with patency of the fallopian tubes in infertility (chromohydrotubation);
- surgical laparoscopy for volumetric formations of the fallopian tubes, ovaries, uterus;
- surgical laparoscopy for genital endometriosis and/or pelvic adhesions;
- hysterectomy (removal of the uterus) – endoscopic and vaginal access;
- hysteroscopy and diagnostic curettage of the uterine cavity, hysteroresectoscopy and removal of polyps of the cervical canal and/or endometrium, removal of submucous uterine fibroids, endometrial ablation, destruction of synechiae, intrauterine septum.
- Embolization of the uterine arteries.
The following diseases are being treated:
- uterine fibroids of any localization;
- endometriosis of any localization;
- benign ovarian growths;
- infertility, tubal-peritoneal factor;
- polycystic ovaries;
- benign ovarian tumors during pregnancy;
- pathology of the endometrium, cervical canal;
- omission and prolapse of the genitals for plastic surgery, including with the use of synthetic materials;
- intrauterine synechiae, intrauterine septa;
- benign tumor-like formations of the genitals in girls, abnormalities of the development of the genitals.
