On October 10, 2025, the Wyndham Garden Astana hotel will host the international conference BREAST CANCER MEETING ASTANA 2025, dedicated to the latest advances in breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Organized by National Scientific Medical Center (NSMC) and the Society of Onco-Mammologists, the event will bring together leading specialists from Kazakhstan, Russia, Turkey, Germany, and Canada — including surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, oncologists, geneticists, and radiation therapy experts.
The program includes:
- modern approaches to breast-conserving and reconstructive surgery;
- advances in early detection using ultrasound, MRI, mammography, and AI technologies;
- genetic research and personalized medicine;
- fertility preservation for women with breast cancer;

This event is about knowledge, mindfulness, and the strength of community. It brings together those who want to spread awareness about the importance of early detection and regular screenings, as well as support women who are fighting or have overcome breast cancer.
Participants can choose between:
• 1.3 km — for beginners or those who prefer to walk at a comfortable pace with friends and family.
• 3.9 km — for more active participants, symbolizing support for everyone affected by this disease.
The run will take place in the picturesque setting of the Botanical Garden, in an atmosphere of care, encouragement, and inspiration. Participants will receive memorable race items, have access to photo zones, educational materials on breast cancer prevention, and meet with medical experts.
This conference will serve as a professional platform for constructive dialogue and innovative solutions aimed at improving the quality of cancer care in Kazakhstan, integrating the latest scientific advancements into clinical practice, and fostering multidisciplinary collaboration.
