The scientific and practical programme brings together leading experts from Kazakhstan and abroad to discuss modern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases, current surgical strategies and the implementation of advanced medical technologies in clinical practice.
On 24 September, the National Scientific Medical Center hosted a master class on laparoscopic coloproctectomy with the formation of an ileal pouch-anal anastomosis in a patient with inflammatory bowel disease.
The master class was held with the participation of Armen Voskanyan Vardanyan, Doctor of Medical Sciences and Head of the Department of Colorectal Surgery at the A.N. Ryzhikh National Medical Research Center of Coloproctology.
The practical format provided specialists with an opportunity to observe the key stages of a complex surgical procedure, discuss its technical aspects, surgical decision-making and modern approaches to the treatment of patients with inflammatory bowel disease.
The main scientific programme of Digestive Synergy 2026 will continue on 25–26 September.
