Cardiac surgeon of the National Scientific Medical Center and Director of the Heart Institute, Almas Tolegenuly, took part in the international congress AATS Annual Meeting 2026, which was held in Chicago.
From May 2 to 5, Almas Tolegenuly participated in one of the world’s largest scientific forums in the field of cardiothoracic surgery — the AATS Annual Meeting 2026, held in Chicago, USA.
As part of the congress, Almas Tolegenuly presented his scientific work in a poster presentation format for the first time. He noted that this opportunity became one of the significant milestones in his professional development as a cardiac surgeon and researcher.
During the congress, he met with leading cardiac surgeons from around the world, exchanged professional experience, discussed complex clinical cases, and took part in discussions on modern surgical techniques and future directions in cardiac surgery.
The AATS Annual Meeting 2026 not only enriched him with new scientific knowledge and valuable experience, but also inspired new ideas that could be implemented in future research and clinical practice.
