The aim of their participation was to promote the National Scientific Medical Centre’s medical services internationally, develop cooperation with foreign partners, and attract foreign patients to receive high-quality medical care in Kazakhstan.
The ‘UMIT’ Tomotherapy Centre was represented by Omirserik Karkyn, an oncologist and radiologist. Representing JSC ‘National Medical Centre’ was Aigerim Khaïrullaevna Zhakupova, a biotechnology specialist from the Department of Cell Technologies and Transplantation.
During the event, participants presented the Centre’s capabilities, modern approaches to diagnosis, treatment and high-tech medical care, and exchanged experiences with representatives of the medical community and international partners.
Participation in such international events helps to strengthen partnerships, develop medical tourism and raise the profile of Kazakhstani medicine on the international stage.
