On behalf of the National Scientific Medical Center, Elmira Akmyrzayevna Kuandykova, pediatric cardiologist and functional diagnostics physician, delivered a report on the activities of the Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Department.
During her presentation, the main results of the department’s work were presented, along with modern approaches to providing high-tech medical care to children with congenital heart defects. The report also highlighted achievements in diagnostics, surgical treatment, and postoperative follow-up of patients.
Special attention was paid to the development of the pediatric cardiac surgery service, ensuring access to specialized medical care for children from all regions of Kazakhstan, and prospects for further improvement of high-tech medical care.
The report generated professional interest among the participants of the seminar-meeting and emphasized the importance of further developing pediatric cardiac surgery as one of the priority areas of the healthcare system of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
